An "unconference" is a new breed of participant-driven conference, and the 2008 NORA Unconference focused on the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority's role in dealing with blighted property in post-Katrina New Orleans. Participants discussed the challenges of transparent property disposition, rebuilding strategies, and how collaborations between grassroots organizations and government agencies might be strengthened. CecilFilm videographers filmed roundtable discussions and provided post-production services for this project. The group Think New Orleans distributed the final pieces in DVD format to participants, the press, key organizations, and policy advocates.
