Katherine Cecil, founder of CecilFilm, is a producer, a videographer, and a facilitator. Her talents include guiding out-of-town clients towards important stories and identifying the best crew and equipment to suit each client's budget. She attends to clients' concerns and requirements while making those involved feel comfortable with the project at hand.
Originally from the United Kingdom but living in New Orleans since 2001, she brings a unique outsider/insider perspective and a European sensibility to CecilFilm projects. In touch with community-level culture and politics, she is ideally placed to gather news or documentary material on the ground.
